ADVERBS-Introduction

An Adverb is a word added to a Verb, an Adjective or another Adverb to show time, manner, place and degree.

Interrogative Adverb Asks the question. Why is he sad? Where is it? How did it happen? Where is he?

Relative Adverb It is the same as the interrogative pronoun, but it is not a question. when, where, how, why

NOTE: The relative adverb does the work of a relative pronoun preceded by a preposition. eg. The house in which I live.... The house where I live. (relative adverb)
